Lybia

Libya is a country that can be described with one word, desert. It goes without rivers and you could not spot an oasis within miles. The only way that Libyans can get fresh water is by pumping it out of the aquifers, which are underground rock layers that hold large amounts of fresh water. Libya holds great amounts of oil. They sell this oil so they can earn money to import food. Muammar al-Qaddhafi has been Libya’s all-powerful dictator. Sadly he was involved in some horrible terrorist acts. One of these acts was the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pam Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. I think that you would agree with me when I say that Libya has a very tough history behind it.
